you have to gather a small section of hair (less than 1") and twist the iron as you go down. not like you would a curling iron - with a curling iron you wrap it so that as much metal as possible is covered. with the straightening iron, you have to stack all the hair on top of itself and then just pull down. curl cream usually helps, you'll also need to use a pretty thin (ceramic) iron. when you're done hairspray away. good luck, i hope i explained it well enough. if you need help just ask.

Well, you can't get curly hair using a straightening iron, but if you want curly hair use hot irons. Leave them in your hair, squirt some hair spray and wait until they're cool (or you can use a blow-dryer on the cool setting and cool them down that way) take the rollers out and use a curling iron to touch them up! Depending on what kind of curls you want. If you want really tight curls then use a little barrel curling iron and rollers. If you want bigger curls then use a bigger barrel curling iron and rollers.

i think you twist the iron slowly through you hair, its hard, if you have a freind who knows how get her to teachh you, i think it requires a little hairspray and alot of time. . .

take a small section of your hair; pin and put it the end(not the root) to the straightener and close it. Then wrap the straightener around the section of hair just like you would do with a curling iron.

I recomend starting at the bottom section of your hair; by pinning up the other half.

Spray your hair spray directly onto each section immediatly after you curl it. DONT OVER DO IT!!!

I don't recomend to actually try getting curly hair with the flat iron. But if you want to flip your hair out or curl it under you can easily do that with the flat iron no problem. Just run the iron through the hair like you normally would but once you get to the ends turn your wrist a little (up if you're flipping %26amp; down if you're curling).

1. Get a small section of hair

2. Put the irons close to the root and wrap your hair around it tightly.

3. Now pull the irons through the hair when it is wraped around the straightener gently!

and then you should have a curl/wave take a few times to practise you will get the hang of it.

Make sure you use a decent heat protector.
