Is japanese straightening bad for your hair?
I guess you mean yuko how whatever it's called. I know a few people who tried it and they're very happy with how their hair turned out. I think it's water based more than anything and here is a link you might find usefull.
And by the way, a friend of mine wanted to get it done, but as soon as the woman at the saloon saw that her hair isn't exactly a virgin as she put it -She's been doing alot of things with it, relaxing it colouring it and such- she told her to wait until all that grew so she'd be able to cut it before using yuko on her hair.

I would take a educated guess and say no, because all Japanese women have beautiful hair!
