no its called relaxer. some people say a "perm" but perms are to make your hair curly(jerri curl). its not bad for your hair. now dying and putting rinses in your hair is bad.

if you let the relaxer sit in your hair too long it can cause 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns.
