i personally like to use the Chi straightener. i also have really poofy and sort of frizzy hair, and this works great for me. i also use garnier hairspray, but any kind should work. as long as its not like super hold hair spray. just spray it all over and then straighten and it works great. hope i helped =]

Paul Mitchel makes a super straight shampoo that works really well, but i think u can only get it at salons, i reccomend a Remmington Wet2Straight because it gets rid of the poofyness in ur hair, and u can even strainghten it when ur hair is wet, it's soo awesome and it's only thirty bucks, i got mime at bed bath and beyond.

I use this thing im not sure what the brand is but it says "Wet to set" its specially designed to be used on wet hair so you dont have to dry it then straighten it its all one step it does work really fast to 15 minutes tops for me

GHD's are good but i've heard they're expensive and they might just be available in the UK. but they work well and heat up the fastest i've ever seen...so i'd say GHD straighteners sre the best.

The Chi is the best, but it is quite expensive. I have a coriolis that I purchased at the local mall that works well.

the straightener that works the best is the Italian thin straightens.. but they cost at least 80 dollars a cheap one that work really good is the con-air ceramic digital heat straightener and product wise you tresame' heat product they work really well to make it less frizzy after its straight use tresame frizz spray, it gets the frizz out really well. or use hemp straightening gel before you straighten your hair

I am looking for a new straightener also. I currently have a conair striaghtener and it works pretty good but it takes a long time to straighten! After research and deciding I think I am going to get Chi turbo 2. It is the widest so it should take the least amount of time. I hope I helped! God Bless!

P.S. I got did all my research at Folica.com it let me look at everyones reviews. The site also sells them at an inexpensive price!
