You can go to a hair salon and have your hair professionally 'relaxed'. It is a chemical treatment that is placed in your hair (looks like conditioner but it is an extrememly harsh chemical). You rinse it out, shampoo and condition as normal then dry your hair and thats it. Your hair is straightened.

It lasts about 6-8 weeks depending on hair texture. The obly problem is, it is irreversable. Your hair will never return to the original texture unless you grow it out.

I've never liked it but for some people, that's what they want. I find that the chemicals are too harsh, my hair is too flat, and curls don't last as long as they should.

nothing. I have dead straight hair. I can barely do anything with it. When i put it in a pony tail, it just slips out. it is incredibly flat, too.

You don't have to spend a ton of time doing it in the morning and it stays straight! The only thing that sucks is that it's harder for curls to stay in your hair when you want to curl it

I've straighten my hair and i've loved, it is so much easier to blow dry it. It comes out so much better looking than when you don't have it permanently straight. Though it is something you do moderatly like every 6 months or every year otherwise you'll burn your hair or it'll brake.

It is definitly so much better looking,smoother,less frizzy.
