is there a way to permanantly straighten hair at home? i dont want to keep straightening my hair after every shower..(i have to so dont tell me to stop) so is there a way?

my sister got hers chemically straightened at the hairdressers but was very expensive and it's need retouching every few months.
I just bought a GHD and it's the best!

My friend used to buy home perms, and comb them through, but then not put the curlers in, and let it sit for the amount of time on the box. It looked straight. But it eventually got to looking overprocessed.
