i just got mine chemically straightened for like $250 about 3 months ago. i honestly wouldnt recomend it because it causes some serious damage and it doesnt always work too well. uyour hair will get really dry and brittle and...elastic-y so wen u brush it, it breaks alot. i thought i was makin a good choice instead of straightening my hair everyday but i was wrong!!

to dis day i still straighten it because all the damage that chemically straightening causes just makes ur hair really poofy and frizzy and it does not look good. just take the extra time to straighten ur hair and if u take good care of it only wash it every other day dat way u dotn have to straighten as often and also make sure to use heat protect sprays...sorry i went a bit off topic

(u could also use some hair relaxers)

the cost depends on every city..in chicago it cost like $300 plus and it makes your hair fall out...i mean ur putting chemicals in your hair....

If you don't go for a retouch and keep the hair moist it will become dry and break off. When done correctly a relaxer can make very coarse or culy hair bone straight. The cost depends on if you are getting it professionally done or doing it yourself and also what product brand you are using. Usually when I have my stylist put in my relaxer it cost about $70 for the relaxer, shampoo and style. If I do it myself at at home then I use Pink Smooth Touch re-touch kit and it only cost about $3.00 at Wal-Mart. However I would not recommend doing this yourself if you are inexperienced or have never had a relaxer before. If this is your first time and you have "virgin" hair, please consult a professional so they can help you decide what product is best for your hair. You will have great results this way.
