Chemicaly straightening your hair ( other known as perm straighten or getting your hair relaxed) damdges the hair. Every product you use damdges your hair. If you chemicaly straigten your hair and then your hair starts to grow back and you decide not to get is chemcaly straightened again a bit of hair might fall out. The hair that's growing isnt protected so if you get your hair chemicaly straightened and decide to grow it back out make sur you trim the edges very often. Hope this helps =)

Yes,chemically straightening your hair effects it.It could possibly irritate your scalp and cause some signs of hair loss.I suggest you do not "perm" your hair unless there is something extremely wrong with your hair.
