i would talk to my hairdresser, they should tell you what would be best, but i think that thinning it just helps with the look not the actual structure, you might wanna try different shampoos and smoothing products, also when and if you blow dry it, point the nozzle down the hair as this will help to close the cutcicles making it more shiny and should smooth it. i always find that helps. i also use a metal barred brush as it heats up and helps too. x

I had my hair thinned %26amp; I still have to straighten it every day. My hair was very, very thick. It is also very coarse. But thinning it out really helped. If you do it make sure the person doesn't thin out your top layers or you will have major fly-aways!
