Relaxing doesnt really straighten your hair. It strips it of the proteins and when 80% (ideal) relaxed, its a light type of wavy, but not as thick. At 100%, its completely flat and lifeless. The problem is, relaxers only last abt a month before you have to reapply it to your "newgrowth" and if your not careful about how long its in your hair and washing it out, you can wake up with all of your hair on your pillow.....
What is the difference between permanently straightening your hair and relaxing it? which is better?
don't know. but i permanently straightened my hair and i worked for a couple months but my hair got a little way at the ends. kinds depends on the type of hair you have.
