I have been getting my hair straightened chemically since 2004. My hair is lovely and I feel blessed whenever I think of my hair now. My hair naturally was on the wavy side and easily became frizzy but now it is straight and lovely all the time. I have my hair the longest it has ever been.

I do lose lot of hair but my head is full of hair so it only helps making it lesser volume.

I use dove shampoo and then conditioner and leave in conditioner and sometimes loreal liss control [another leave in conditioner].

In my opinion chemical straightening of hair is next best thing to be invented after internet. It has made me really happy :D

Alot of stylists are not qualified to be performing chemical straightening. It is an expensive process and if it were me, I would want to know that where I was going to get it done, that the person performing the straightening had had proper training.
