- Use conditioner when you shower.

- Scrunch gel into your hair right after you shower.

- Brush it out.

- Straighten your hair.

- Use hairspray to make it hold.

Experiment to see what works best for you.

Also, try hair products with silicone (extra hold!).

Lets just look at the facts, nature is nature and sometimes we just need to accept that.........BUT, we can try our hardest to outsmart it!!!! Start with washing your hair the day before(in the morning, the day before) dirty hair hols gel, etc. better than clean hair, just a fact! After you wash it, pull it tight into a bun(twisting the hair). Leave it that way all day, over night. Make sure and put hair staightner goop in it, and a little mouse(give it a head start on holding). Then the day/night of your concert, put frizz ease(for straighht hair), hair staightner cream, mouse(yes again), if your hair has completely dried from the previous day(mine is usually still damp) then spritz it with a little water(just until damp). After using all the creams, etc. you need for straightning hair, (use a little hairsray as well, medium hold, you don't want it too stiff) Take a blow dryer and blow dry your hair straight, either with your fingers or a dryer brush(with air holes)-constantly brushing and pulling straight, then once it's all the way dry, use a flat iron, and do it in portains to ensure it all gets ironed(put up top half and iron underneath first, then put rest down and iron top half! when your done straighting it, use straightning cream/de-frizzer to finish the job(not too much, anything that can cause your hair to become damp can instigate curling or waveing) Your done, NOW.....at the concert is a different story, bring your regular brush and your straightning cream/de frizzer, make sure after you styled your hair at home you sprayed it with hairspray(not too much) whenever you notice your hair begining to wave up or notice it's a little damp, use the restroom, indescreetly and put some cream on it, and either pull straight w/ your fingers or use your brush, until the dampness is gone/ finish w/ cream as well!! Try not to wipe sweaty forehead into hair, use a cleanex for your face!! Also if you pull your hair back tightly, into a very low, bun(twisted) at the base of your neck, untill your ready to let it go freely, it'll help keep it straight and less frizzy!! I hope that helped and have fun!!!Remember, the hair de frizzer has to be a hair staightner as well, if you can't find on with both in it, then use two, the de-frizzer and a hair staightner!! Any brand will do, I use friedas de-frizzer and straightner and tresseme mouse and hair spray. Also a ceramic flat iron works best, the blow drying your hair staight as possible before you iron it, is very important, so is not washing it before styling if you want it to stay!!!

Well go to a local beauty store (or store with good hair products) and find a straighter recomended by the staff. First get out of the shower and put some gel in your hair. Then blow dry it. Then straighten it. Then put some hair spray in it (but not a lot). Good luck!

Use an anti-humectant hair serum or silicon hair spray. A good hair serum would be the CHI or Biosilk. Redken has silicon hair spray. They serve to seal in our hair cuticle to protect it from the effects of humidity - that causes frizzing and flyaways. :)

Hope this helped. :D
