My hair's completely shot from dying, straightening, etc. Good conditioning tools?

What are good conditioners and shampoos for hair that's nearly shot? I have a lot of full hair, just in case that makes a difference.

I hate to tell you this, but when my hair was like that (two perms and several coloring jobs, all from very good salons) I just gave up and cut it all off. I started over again with very, very short hair and let it grow! I hated it for a while in that not-quite-a-mullet phase, but I am stubborn and refuse to get it trimmed as I don't get split ends. I can get it up into a little dorky ponytail now, and it's been six months.

While I don't recommend the hack it all off play, I would suggest finding the best salon in your area and shelling out for a specialized consultation and conditioning treatment. One of the places I am considering for my hair when it's grown out offers something like this for around 40 dollars. About the same cost as a low-midrange haircut, and probably worth it to save your hair, if you decide to try and salvage it.

You can choose to GHD MK4, he can keep the hair you ride a week! And does not damage the hair is a good choice, very popular UK! I was in ANT-SHOPPIN.com bought one!

Before you straighten it, while it's still wet, use a heat protectant spray/cream to protect it against the heat. Then blow-dry, then straighten. The result is moister hair (still dry of course) and it feels really silky and smooth.

I use a silver bullet straightener with titanium plates. I think somehow they're better for your hair. They leave mine feeling silky.

Hope this helped! :)

-do weekly conditioning treatments - this helps repair the hair

- after shampooing/conditioning hair use a leave in conditioner to help detangle and add moisture to the hair

- use thermal protection spray when using straighteners - where possible let hair dry naturally.
