Im A Girl. I Got My Hair Cut Recently And I Have Layers, My hair Is Naturally Wavy But Now It Is Curly. When I Straighten It And It Goes Straight It Only Stays Straight For 5 Minutes And Goes Curly Again. Ive Tried Serum But I Dont Want To Spend Loads On New Straighteners And Hair Products.. I Use A Protecter For My Hair And I Have Tresemme Straighteners And Protector. Please Help!!!

It just doenst GROW straight. Its not really why you cant straighten it. Theres always a way to do that. You need the right products and the right amount of heat applied.

u need to get wet2straight straightener...they sell it at bed, bath, and beyond...its made by remington...u can straighten ur hair wet, or dry...has 1-30 settings...on how high the heat u want...good luck!

hmm i cant help you tbh but its the same with my hair .. i have to mousse it and then straight blow dry it and it kinda goes straight but my hair is naturally pretty straight anyway !

sounds like you just need a new flat iron! Go get one that is fairly big, so that more heat covers more area of hair. Trust me, when it comes to this type of stuff, you get what you pay for so dont be too cheap, you want a nice one that gets really hot.. Should do the trick. I have very dead frizzy hair and I dont put anything in it to striaghten it amazingly because my flat iron works wonders! Good luck!

Try using charles worthington hair serum, it does work! and only a few pounds for a little bottle (you only need the size of a pea) then use some ceramic hair straighteners. I use Rimmington wet2Straight which I think are really good(but dont do it from wet because it can damage your hair)

You need a CERAMIC straightener, products help but if you have a cheap strengthener your hair won't relax.

Is your iron metal or ceramic? If it's metal you may have to dish out the bucks to get a ceramic one. The metal ones just don't get hot enough to straighten really wavy or curly hair. I know you didn't want to spend the money but maybe you could find a wavy/curly hair do that you like and save up for the iron?

I got a Perm and I din't like it so I went to wal-mart and bought a Liquid straighten it worked Great!!

if your uaing heat to straighten you just have to do it longer or try rolling your hair after you wash it,let hair dry then put in serum then blowdry (just until it is straight) and VOLA you have straight hair.

My step daughters hair done that when I put layers in her hair. ended up going to Kmart and getting a perm kit and putting it in her hair like the box said to and then instead of rolling it I combed it for about 30 minutes straight and rinsed it out make sure you just comb it dry and dont wash it for a few days it will be straight. Her hair is still staight and she has naturally curlly hair. I hope this helps you.

tresemme is crap. to get what you want you'd have to spend some money. you NEED a straight iron that has a temp. gage it needs to get hotter to go straight. and better products that will leave you straight longer. paul mitchell super skinny serum is awesome for that. The products that you buy in stores can easily damage your hair and not even style it the way you want

try to part your hair in sections and use plain corn starch to stop sweating,then use a little on your hair rub on each part you straighten don't use heavy stuff,you know you could buy a kiddie african american perm and straighten your hair every 6 mos it works good!!!my friend used to do it kiddie perms only!!!!good luck no it wont damage your hair!!

maybe you could use a more expensive straghtener like a CHI, FHI, or Wigo, but never you wet2dry straightener. it will just fry your hair.
