Steps

1. Before wetting your hair with warm/hot water in the shower, rinse it completely with cold water.

2. Use a less-than usual amount of shampoo, and more conditioner than usual.

3. get rid of as much excess water as possible from your hair, and wrap in a towel.

4. Let your hair air dry, until it has very little wetness in it. Put in a leave-in conditioner. Sunsilk Anti-Poof is one such product.

5. If you want to straighten it a little with a blow dryer, do this now. A round or bristled brush will work best.

6. Heat up your flat iron, and set it to a setting for your hair (highest being the thickest, and lowest being the thinnest hair).

7. Spray each section with a flat iron spray to protect it from heat. Straighten each section until you like how it looks.

8. Enjoy your new straight hair. If you feel it's needed, brush or comb your hair.

I love Biosilk. It is a little expensive but you literally only need a drop or two for your whole head. It leaves your hair silky, not sticky and shiny!

use a really good heat protection spray I prefer ION products but um if your hair is frizzy use the anti-frizz spray and also use the polishing gloss from silk elements thats also good. I used to work @ Sally's.
